Problematika diverzity v sociální práci
Abstract
Tento text se věnuje diverzitě tedy odlišnosti a to nejen etnickému nebo kulturnímu odlišení
klientů žádajících intervenci v sociálních službách a přístupu pracovníků v pomáhajících
profesích k tomuto fenoménu. Zásadní v rámci intervence s klientem z odlišné kultury je také
pracovníkova kompetence, schopnost komunikace a zvýšená empatie jako faktory kvalitní
nediskriminující práce.
Multicultural communication is one of the basic social skills of any person who, during
his/her work, study, travel meets or cooperates with the members of different cultures. It
represents the ability to understand the existing cultural dimension and to manage them
appropriately in the context of his/her social role and sub-task, work, study or future
knowledge.
